Designed for two-bedroom living, this unit delivers two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a full open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area -- all factory-built in California to the highest energy efficiency and fire-resistance standards in the industry. Whether you are adding this unit for rental income, family housing, or as a guest suite, the AS750 gives you a complete, livable home that your tenants or guests will genuinely love.
California homeowners are increasingly choosing prefab ADUs over site-built construction for one simple reason: value. The AS750 is designed to maximize livable square footage within a footprint that works on most California lots, minimize on-site construction time, and deliver a finished product that is indistinguishable from a traditionally built home in quality and comfort.
Construction and Materials
Every AmerADU unit is built with steel framing -- not wood -- which is infinitely recyclable, fire-resistant, and impervious to the rot, warping, and pest damage that compromise wood-framed structures over time. The exterior is clad in cement fiberboard siding, available in board and batten, vertical, horizontal, and stucco-effect finishes. Roofing is Class A metal, available in Polar White, Mocha Tan, and Ash Grey, providing superior fire resistance and a minimum 40-year lifespan. Double-pane windows and insulated doors keep energy costs low and interior comfort high year-round.
Interior finishes are selected for durability and broad appeal. Pergo luxury flooring is dent-proof, waterproof, pet-proof, and comes with a minimum 30-year warranty. Countertops are 1.5-inch laminate available in Peace Grey, Arctic Melange, Hidden Space, and Luminous White. All units come equipped with full-size kitchen appliances including refrigerator, range, and dishwasher. In-unit washer and dryer connections are standard.
Sustainability and Energy Efficiency
The AmerADU units are built to CALGreen standards and certified by independent HERS inspectors. Cool roofs reduce HVAC load by 10 to 15 percent. High-performance insulation on both interior and exterior walls meets or exceeds Title 24 requirements. When paired with a 2.3kW solar system (available as an add-on), the AS750 qualifies for California's Net Zero Energy designation. Our water heaters and HVAC systems are selected specifically for their efficiency ratings, reducing your tenants' or family members' utility costs from day one.

Because most California cities require ADU exteriors to complement the primary residence, we help you select colors from the Sherwin Williams palette that achieve compliance while reflecting your personal preferences. Interior options include three flooring colors from Pergo's luxury line, four countertop colors in 1.5-inch laminate, and cabinetry in clean, modern white.
