Construction and Materials
Every AmerADU unit is built with steel framing — not wood — which is infinitely recyclable, fire-resistant, and impervious to the rot, warping, and pest damage that compromise wood-framed structures over time. The exterior is clad in cement fiberboard siding, available in Board & Batten, Vertical, Horizontal, and Stucco-effect finishes. Roofing is Class A metal, available in Polar White, Mocha Tan, and Ash Grey, providing superior fire resistance and a long-lasting, low-maintenance exterior. Double-pane windows and insulated doors keep energy costs low and interior comfort high year-round.
Interior finishes are selected for durability and broad appeal. Pergo luxury flooring is dent-proof, waterproof, pet-proof, and comes with a minimum 30-year warranty. Countertops are 1.5-inch laminate available in Peace Grey, Arctic Melange, Hidden Space, and Luminous White. All units come equipped with full-size kitchen appliances including refrigerator, range, and dishwasher. In-unit washer and dryer connections are standard.
